A special room rate of $179 single/double occupancy was negotiated for the TWD 2015 Program Directors' Meeting. Hotel rates are in U.S. dollars and are subject to state and local taxes (currently 12%). The special room rate includes complimentary wireless basic internet service in the guest rooms, and convenient self-parking.

NOTE: Reservations Cutoff Date for the special room rate was May 13, 2015.  After May 13, 2015, the special room rate and reserved room block are no longer be available.

TWD 2015 TRAVEL AWARDS AVAILABLE FOR T32 PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATORS/PROGRAM DIRECTORS

FASEB MARC is offering a limited number of TWD 2015 Travel Awards to help support the participation of Principal Investigators/Program Directors of active NIGMS TWD-funded T32 grants.  Each travel award covers eligible expenses up to a maximum of $1,200 to support the applicant’s participation in the TWD 2015 Program Directors’ Meeting. The award must be applied to related expenses including travel (air and ground transportation), lodging at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles (the designated TWD 2015 meeting venue), TWD 2015 meeting registration and per diem allowance for one day.   Applicants must be USA citizens or Permanent Residents of the USA, and must not have funding available in the NIGMS/NIH-funded T32 grants to support the PI/PD's participation in the TWD 2015 Program Directors' Meeting.

The travel awards will be processed as reimbursements to the award recipients after the meeting. Original receipts will be required in order to receive reimbursement.     NOTE:  Travel awards are limited to a maximum of three (3) NIGMS TWD-funded T32 Principal Investigators/Program Directors per university/institution.

All travel award applicants must be approved by the FASEB MARC Program review committee.  Applicants approved for travel award support will be notified by the FASEB MARC Program upon approval of their application.
